Speech-Language Pathology

Department of Speech-Language Pathology at NENT-SPARC is a full-fledged diagnostic and rehabilitation centrethat has a specialized team equipped in the evaluation and treatment of children and adults with speech and language disorders. Speech-Language Pathologists are professional experts who deal with diagnosis and treatment of speech-language and cognitive-communication disorders that result in communication disabilities.NENT- SPARC maintains high standards in the provision of comprehensive assessment and intervention services in the area of Speech-Language Pathology. NENT-SPARC is well-equipped with all the evaluation/diagnostic tools to diagnose different communication disorders in detail. The qualified team are highly experienced in assessing each case in detail to form a precise diagnosis and thus to plan individualized intervention programs.

We deal with all the Childhood and Adult Language Disorders like Autism, ADHD, Mental retardation, LD, Aphasia, Traumatic Brain injury etc., Speech Disorders including Voice disorders, Fluency disorders (Stuttering, Cluttering), Articulation disorders (Cleft palate etc.), Neurogenic speech disorders including Apraxia of speech, cerebral palsy, dysarthria etc., Cognitive Communicative disorders including dementia, RHD etc. and Swallowing disorders.

The Department of SLP is collaborated with Department of Psychology in order to provide additional support for clients with communication disorders.

NENT-SPARC has a separate Department of Psychology to deal children with Intellectually Disabled, Learning Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Twice Exceptional  as well as adoloscents with age related issues.

NENT- SPARC’s mission is to enhance communication and daily living skills by providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adults, to enhance client’s potential skills by collaborating with caregivers and other professionals thus leading them to mainstreaming.
